In 2013 I was homeless, I slept on the streets. When I first met Georgina I had been rough sleeping at Heathrow Airport for many months. She believed in me and encouraged me via emails, calls and one to one meetings to successfully secure a job in a 5-star hotel. It was a three-stage interview process for the job. I nearly didn’t go to the last interview, but she was consistently there helping me to cross that bridge. There is something she said to me that I still remember “…I think you have come too far with your fighting spirit and your amazing attitude to give up now”. For the past two years I have been working as a care worker for people living with severe mental health issues as I prepare to launch my own venture. I can’t be thankful enough for my encounter with Georgina. A beautiful person with a big heart.
